Emergency First Aid & CPR

Course Description 

This one day course is intended for persons who are occupationally required or just desire to have first aid knowledge and skills, such as emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, and babysitters.

This 6.5 hour one day first aid course will use DVD instruction, instructor demonstration, and hands on skill practise.

Here at OH&S we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of training possible.  We want to keep students engaged throughout the day with our high quality training materials and make sure you are ready to use the skills you have learnt if a real situation were to arise. Using our unique student-centred instructional design, MEDIC FIRST AID Emergency ensures fundamental cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and emergency care skills for the occupational first aid provider.

Completion Requirements 

Students will be required to have 100% attendance, participate in skill demonstrations, and complete a written exam with 70%.  The Emergency First Aid & CPR certification will be valid for 3 years.

Continuing Education 

Level One Workplace First Aid or Pediatric First Aid
